Sunday, August 2 we will gather to worship our God at 9am in the sanctuary and on Facebook live. We will celebrate Holy Communion and sing praises to God.  Please join us in one of these spaces or on our YouTube channel at a later time. However you come, we are glad!

This Sunday is also our Meal Ministry. Many thanks for all of the hands and feet that reach out to our friends each month.

Snowball Mountain Challenge VBS starts this Wednesday, August 5. Please keep everyone in prayer as they experience God together.

Our Board of Trustees will meet on Wednesday as well at 4pm.

Steve and Helen Forward invite you to their home on Thursday, August 6 from 6-8pm to unwind and have a chance to get to know Pastor Ben and Alyssa a little better. Please sign up on the board outside of the Fireside room.

Don't forget to sign up for our Annual Mini Golf Tournament on Saturday, August 8.  Registration check in is at 8:30 and we will tee off at 9am. This is a fun event for all ages and abilities, bring some friends and/or family members to join in the fun! If you would like to join for the delicious brunch after the tournament but not play mini golf, just fill out a registration form and mark "For Brunch only." There has been some curiosity about how Pastor Ben would like to be addressed. For those who are wondering, he prefers "Pastor Ben."

We will worship on Sunday, July 26 at 9am in the sanctuary and on Facebook live. We hope you will join us! The service will be available on our YouTube channel afterwards for those who need to worship at a different time. However you join us, know that you are loved by God!

This Sunday, July 26 is the last day for donations to our outhouse project. All of these items will benefit St Joseph's and Brown Memorial UMC's food pantries. Needed items include:  toilet paper, paper towels, tissues, bar soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant (men's & women's), toothpaste, dish soap and laundry soap (liquid only).

Forward Steps for Immanuel:
The conference has developed a new program entitled Quick Connect to help churches with the transition to a new pastor. This Tuesday on July 28th at 6:30pm, Rev. Dr. B.J. Norrix will lead a time of discussion as we begin to figure out ways to move forward as a church with Pastor Ben. Please consider joining us in The Fireside Room on Tuesday the 28th at 6:30pm. 

There will be a free Grab n Go dinner of hamburgers at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church on Tuesday, July 28 at 5pm. Our own Sam Paventi is the chef, he says not to be late because the meals go quickly.

Our 17th Annual  Mini Golf Tournament is Saturday, August 8 at Fairmount Glen Mini Golf course. Registration starts at 8:30, tee off at 9. Brunch at the church following the tournament.
