Syracuse United Methodist Ministries (SUMM) is publishing a Lenten Devotional for 2024 with the theme “Re,” focusing on the themes of Remember, Repentance, Return, Reclaim, Rebirth, Renewal, Reflect, and Resurrection.
Clergy and members of Syracuse churches will provide devotions for each day in addition to contributions from Bishop Héctor A Burgos Nùñez and DS Sherri Rood. We are inviting churches throughout the UNY Conference to share in this devotional. You may pre-order using the form below. The deadline for the preorder is February 1st. Taizé is a meditative prayer service with candlelight, chanting, and silence that originated in the ecumenical community in Taizé, France. Please join Erin Moore, Jeff Wise, Harvey Neusbaum, and Friends as they lead us in this beautiful service! Free will offering. Sunday, November 12, 4:00 pm St. Joseph’s Church, 5600 Genesee St., Camillus NY presented by MasterWorks Chorale; Michael Kringer, director The glorious Christmas portion and Hallelujah Chorus, sung by a 60-member choir with small chamber orchestra *Experienced Messiah singers are invited to perform with the Chorale, after attending a required rehearsal on Friday, Nov. 10, 7–8 pm, at St. Joesph’s Church. Suggested donation at door: $10 (adults); proceeds support MasterWorks Chorale. Approximate length: 1 hour and 15 minutes, no intermission.
