A Sunny Success at the 17th Annual Mini Golf Tournament

August 8th was a perfect sunny morning for the 17th Annual Miniature Golf Tournament supporting the Disaster Recovery Mission—and once again, the rain kindly waited until after we finished playing.

We were blessed with 18 generous hole sponsors, each recognized with signs throughout the course.

​And of course, a tournament isn’t complete without golfers. Sixty‑four people, including ten children, enjoyed a morning of friendly competition at beautiful Fairmount Glen.

No Methodist event is complete without good food. Many thanks to Chef Sam Paventi and his helpers for preparing a delicious brunch.

A special word of gratitude goes to Tom Ness, owner of Fairmount Glen Miniature Golf, for donating the course for this event, and to the church members who contributed additional cash donations.

There were smiles everywhere as everyone enjoyed a wonderful time together. Thanks to the support of so many, the tournament raised $2,593.85 for the Disaster Recovery Mission.
