Our "Food Truck Party" themed Vacation Bible School is meeting every Wednesday night in August at 6pm for a great time of food and fellowship. The kids are singing, dancing, playing games, crafting, and learning science all while learning about being "On a ROLL with God". Our main course each week is "Give us this day our daily bread" with a Daily Special which changes each week. We have a group of enthusiastic kids and helpers too! We are all having a great time. Join us on Sunday, September 8 for our final day of Food Truck Party Vacation Bible School! This will also be our kickoff for Kidz Club which meets every Sunday during the school year during our 10am worship hour. Week 1 Daily Special - God is Great Week 2 Daily Special - God is Good Week 3 Daily Special - Let Us Thank God for Our Food Week 4 Daily Special - By God’s Hands We all are Fed! August 11th was the perfect sunny day for the 15th Annual Miniature Golf Tournament to support Disaster Recovery Missions. We were blessed with 17 hole sponsors and 71 participants. After a shot gun start at 9am, participants returned to the church for a delicious brunch and prizes. A great time was had by all and we were able to raise $2,383.12! Thank you to all who participated! Our congregation's and community's generosity made it possible for a small team from Immanuel to build a new shed for a couple on the Onondaga Nation.
Thank you to everyone who contributes to our Mission Outreach fundraisers.
At this annual fundraiser for the Interreligious Food Consortium, you get to choose from hundreds of beautiful hand-crafted bowls donated by local ceramic artisans. With your purchase, you will receive a bowl of soup made by popular local restaurants in the area. Your continued support and participation in this event allow us to keep helping our community year-round! Please consider saving the date to the Empty Bowls event and share this with your friends and family by forwarding this post or sharing their Facebook event. All proceeds benefit the Interreligious Food Consortium to help those experiencing food insecurity in Syracuse, New York. Specifically, IFC serves small and under-resourced food pantries, senior housing facilities, social workers, city schools and other providers in the local emergency food network. IFC relies solely on donations of food and finance from individual contributors, churches, local organizations, foundations and businesses.
