Summer Fun in the Son Week
Every August we hold a community Summer Fun in the Son Week for children ages 4 through 5th grade. Registration is $10 per child, no more than $30 per family. Summer Fun in the Son week is typically the first week of August. We gather together for worship and split up into crews and rotate through stations such as crafts, bible adventures, snack, games, and Mission Central. Prior themes have been Shipwrecked: Rescued by Jesus, Cave Quest, the Parables of Jesus, Everywhere Fun Fair, Pandamania, Go Fish, and Weird Animals.

Summer Fun in the Son Week 2018
The 2018 Summer fun in the Son week was held August 6th through August 9th. Our theme for the week was Shipwrecked: Rescued by Jesus.
A generous anonymous donation made it possible for all children to attend with no registration fee.
30 children from Immanuel and the community attended the 2018 session. In addition, a total of 25 adult 15 youth volunteers were instrumental in making the session a big success. New this year, an evening cookout was added to the program on the final day.
