Not even the heat will keep the people of God from being the hands and feet of Jesus! Yesterday, a group from Immanuel paired with the Camillus Police Department, Home Depot and Operation Northern Comfort to build a ramp for a local couple in need. The ramp will be installed on Saturday. Our story made the news on Channel 9. You can see the article and video by clicking this link https://www.localsyr.com/news/local-news/camillus-pd-volunteers-building-wheelchair-ramp-for-couple/. Pastor Jack's response to seeing the article was, "It was a great effort accomplished by good folks dedicated to serving in Jesus' name! Doesn't get any better than that!" Many thanks to all who participated. We will worship on Sunday at 9am with Pastor Candace Lawrence leading us. The service will be available on Facebook live at 9am and then uploaded after to our YouTube channel. Please join us however you are able! Good news from Food Sense. This is an opportunity to purchase groceries each month at a discounted rate. The program runs through the Camillus Senior Center but is open to everyone, there is no age or income limit. Now you can order online! For more information check out our website article. Ordered food is picked up at the Camillus Senior Center. Please remember to bring your non-perishable food items to church during the month of July. All items will be given to Brown UMC as their food pantry is empty. Starting July 14, the church office will be closed on Fridays until after Labor Day. Blessings from the church office. Comments are closed.
