2022 Confirmation

On Sunday, June 5, 2022, our church welcomed four young people into our church membership through the Rite of Confirmation.  Congratulations to Sammi, Joey, Adie and Madelyn!

​As part of the confirmation process, each confirmand and his/her mentor were asked to do a mission outreach project together.

Joey and Sammi

​Joey and Sammi joined together to raise funds and collect items for Helping Hounds Dog Rescue. They both have family dogs from Helping Hounds and wanted to give back to this organization. They raised $200 to purchase needed supplies and made homemade dog treats for the dogs.

Adie

Adie organized a church-wide bake sale on May 22. Many members of the church assisted with donating baked goods.  The bake sale raised $1,100 which will go to UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief) to benefit Ukrainian relief efforts.

Madelyn

​Madelyn and her Grandfather, Dick, who was also her mentor, worked on weeding  gardens at the Erie Canal Museum in Camillus.
